Top 10 medical tests for women’s health
Women are always worried about taking good care of your family's health and do not care much their own. Rarely plan health exams. What I do not know is that regular health exams lead to early prevention and control to help cure diseases.
Ten medical tests women should get
There are 10 screening that contribute to early diagnosis and treatment of common health problems of women.
• Blood Pressure. Blood pressure must be checked at least every two years.
• Papanicolaou (Pap). Abnormal changes in cervical cells that can cause cervical cancer. For those who have been sexually active, ideally, be made a Pap test every one to three years. The main cause of cervical cancer is human papillomavirus (HPV).
• The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) gives rise to the Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). The four main ways in which viruses can be transmitted are having sex without protection, through breast milk, transmission of blood from an infected mother to her child at birth and through the use of contaminated needles.
• Review of colorectal cancer. Realize a screening for colorectal cancer from 50 years of age. If your family has a history of colon cancer, get the test before. Among the South Beach Smoke tests is the stool culture, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy and rectal palpation.
• Densitometry. This test can detect osteoporosis. All women under 65 years should have them. Postmenopausal women with risk factors such as low body weight and smoking have to let them soon.
• Controls cholesterol. Control it regularly after 45 years of age. In the case of women who smoke, have diabetes, are overweight or have history of heart disease or high cholesterol in the family, controls should begin at age 20.
• Diabetes. Occurs when the body fails to use glucose properly due to lack of the hormone insulin or when the insulin available does not work effectively. Realize control diabetes if you have high cholesterol, hypertension or diabetes-related symptoms.
• Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). The most common STD in the UK is Chlamydia. The examinations are mandatory for the group of people up to 25 years of age and sexually active. If you're older, ask your doctor whether you should realize yourself tested for other STDs.
• Mammogram. A mammogram is fairly painless, safe and binding on the early detection of breast cancer. Realize a mammogram once a year you reach 40 years of age. Women who have a history of breast cancer in the family should start earlier.
• Glaucoma. This condition causes blindness due to optic nerve damage and symptoms. Realize a glaucoma exam every two to four years to 65 years old. Then, the test must be performed every one to two years. Screening tests can help detect and treat underlying disease quickly. GORGEOUS HOLLYWOOD BODIES: A ZONE DIET REVIEW
There is a reason why Hollywood sings the praise of the Zone Diet. It is because many of them owe their gorgeous bodies to it. Created by Dr. Barry Sears, it is touted to be more than just a diet program. It may also be used to prevent or cure certain illnesses like hypertension and diabetes. Dr. Sears refers to being in the Zone as being in that state where metabolism works perfectly and the dieter keeps on losing weight. According to him, it can happen to people who follow his nutrition program. At least one zone diet review calls it very effective not only in helping people to lose weight but also in helping them develop a healthy lifestyle.
